With a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and over a decade of experience in ultrasound characterization, Leela doesn't just know the science, she knows how the medical device industry actually works.
As the former head of acoustics for a major medical device company, she built and scaled their testing infrastructure from the early startup days straight though an enterprise acquisition. She knows exactly what the FDA is looking for and how to build regulatory strategies that seamlessly translate internal measurements into successful submission. All without creating roadblocks for the engineering team.
Today, she actively shapes the rules as a leader in developing international ultrasound standards (IEC).
